Kaju barfi is an Indian sweets. Kaju literally means cashew nuts and barfi means sweet, usually in a dimond shape. Barfi is often but not always, made by thickening milk with sugar and other ingredients (dry fruits and mild spices). It is then spread in a flat, shallow dish and cut into bite-sized pieces. These pieces are sometimes decorated with edible silver or gold foil. An ideal gift for rakhshabandhan, birthdays, anniversaries, retirement, housewarming or any other sweet occasion.
